Sheriffs Officials: Local Pizzeria Robbed at Gunpoint

El Paso County Sheriff’s deputies were called to Fredoz Pizza at 919 N. Fabens Road in far east El Paso County Thursday night in response to an aggravated robbery.

An investigation revealed that two suspects, only described as Hispanic men dressed in black, entered the pizzeria just after 10 p.m., armed with a handgun and a metal pipe. The suspects demanded money and even struck one of the employees on the head with the gun, cutting the employee across the forehead. The men left with $1,300 in cash.

Deputies said they are still looking for the men, who ran west out of the pizzeria.

Detectives were called to the scene. The investigation is still ongoing.
