ABC-7 Forecast for Friday, January 6th, 2012

We’re shaping up to have a beautiful day and a nice start to the weekend. Light winds from the west along with sunny skies will allow temperatures to warm up into the mid 60s today and tomorrow with overnight lows above freezing.

Some changes return to the area by Sunday as a cold front moves on through from the north. This front will drop temperatures into the mid 50s for the latter part of the weekend and into the 40s by Monday.

There is still a slight chance for some precipitation on Monday, but it appears that anything we get will remain on the light side and not have a major impact on the Borderland.
