Former County Judge Dolores Briones pleaded guilty in connection with El Paso’s long running public corruption investigation.

The ABC-7 I-Team learned within the past hour that Briones appeared before Judge Frank Montalvo the afternoon of Dec. 9 and entered a guilty plea, and posted a $10,000 security bond. Records in the case were previously kept confidential.
Dolores has been ordered to report to a probation officer until she’s sentenced.
