A teen was arrested Sunday in El Paso’s Lower Valley on two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after he rammed another vehicle multiple times, according to police.

Police said an investigation revealed 19-year-old Kevin Wiles rammed his Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck into a car driven by Jessica Rodriguez near the 200 block of Gonzalez Street. A little more than 2 miles from where the first incident occurred, police say Rodriguez pulled up behind Wiles’s truck Wiles and threw it into reverse and rammed Rodriguez’s vehicle a second time near Pasodale Road and Alameda Avenue. Wiles then rammed the other car a third time on Pasodale Road and fled the area, according to police.

Rodriguez and her passenger, Jesus Delgado, were not injured in the assault.

According to a complaint affidavit, Wiles claimed it was a drug deal gone bad.

Wiles was arrested and booked into the El Paso County Jail on a $20,000 bond.
