Police: Two Men Arrested In East El Paso After Police Find 11 Pounds Of Pot In Car

Officials from the El Paso Police Department said investigators of the West Texas High Intensity Drug Trafficking found 10 bundles of marijuana in a car on Friday in east El Paso.

While conducting an ongoing investigation, investigators said they saw two men just before 2 p.m. in a silver Cadillac driving at 700 North Zaragoza Rd.

Investigators said 27-year-old Jose Cuevas and 28-year-old Adrian Herrera removed a box from the car containing 10 bundles of marijuana weighing a total of 11.03 pounds.

Both Police said both men were arrested and charged with marijuana possession and booked into the El Paso County Jail, each on $20,000 bonds.
