60-Year-Old Man Allegedly Stabs 20-Year-Old Acquaintance In Hand
A 20-year-old man was walking down Myrtle Avenue when he stopped to greet a 61-year-old acquaintance, who in turn stabbed him in the hand, police said.
Jesus Andres Martinez, 20, was meeting with 61-year-old Wilfredo Villanueva Baez when police said Baez brandished a undisclosed sharp object and cut Martinez’s hand about 5:30 p.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of Myrtle.
Martinez immediately left the area and called police. He was treated by emergency crews on the scene.
Officers went to the site of the allege stabbing and quickly spotted Baez. He was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a first-degree felony. Baez was booked into the El Paso County Jail, with bond set at $5,000.
