Police Arrest Man On Robbery, Possession Charges

Officers from the El Paso Police Department said the caught an armed robber who was also in possession of marijuana Monday in northeast El Paso.

Police said around 6:30 p.m. 22-year-old Adan Myers walked into a 7-11 store at 4950 Dyer Street and threatened the clerk with a knife and demanded money.

Myers left the store with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

Officers saw Myers walking on Hercules Street and said he threw cash over a wall when he saw the police cruiser. Officers arrested Myers and said he was also carrying a small amount of marijuana.

Myers was charged with aggravated robbery and possession of marijuana and booked into the El Paso County Detention Center on a $81,126.80 bond.
