Police Seek 16-Year-Old Girl Last Seen With Boyfriend, 18
Police are looking for a teenage girl believed to be with her 18-year-old boyfriend.
The El Paso Police Department’s Crime Against Persons seeks help finding 16-year-old Janet Burciaga. She is described as being Hispanic with brown hair and brown eyes, about five feet to five feet two inches tall and weighing about 125 pounds.
Burciaga was last seen wearing a sky-blue hoodie with a “Hollister” logo, a black t-shirt, and blue skinny jeans. Police believe she is with 18-year old Joe Soto, who is also known as Elias Pina. He was described as being Hispanic with brown hair and brown eyes, 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighing about 130 pounds.
Police said Soto went to Austin High School about 8:45 a.m. Wednesday, met Burciaga in her class and left the school with her. Neither, Burciaga or Soto have been heard from since.
Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call police at 915-832-4400. Police continue to investigate.
