Woman arrested after allegedly throwing knife at husband
A woman was booked for aggravated assault Friday evening, after throwing a knife at her husband, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
At around 5 p.m., sheriff’s deputies were sent to a local hospital where they discovered an assault took place on the 7800 block of Kiely Road.
Officials said the suspect, Silvia Davila, and her husband were arguing when she grabbed a knife and threw it at him.
The knife injured the 32-year-old man’s lower left side torso area. He was transferred to a local hospital.
Davilia was arrested at the Patrol Vinton Station, and booked into the detention center.
Her bond was set at $40,000.
