NMSU Falls to Utah State

The NMSU Aggies 12 game winning streak was stopped when they lost to Utah State 73-69. NMSU (18-9, 12-3) played the Utah State Aggies (18-6, 9-5) for the final time as members of the WAC.

Despite 15 off the bench points by reserve forward Remi Berry, the Aggies couldn’t overcome a solid performance by Utah State center Jarred Shaw. Shaw shot 11-18 for the night chipping in 24 points and grabbing eight rebounds.

NMSU will now have a week off. The next time the Aggies play will be Saturday at the Pan American Center when they host I-10 rival UTEP. Tip off for that one is set at 7:00 p.m.
