Las Cruces Little League team comes up short in bid to play in Little League World Series
A group of Las Cruce team’s dreams of playing in the Little League World Series came to an end Wednesday night.
The Fairacres team went up against a Corpus Christi team in Waco for the Southwest Regional championship but unfortunately were shut out 6-0.
Friends and family watched the team play live on ESPN 2 and tell ABC-7 that the players have learned from the experience.
The team is scheduled to return to El Paso late Thursday afternoon.
