Two men shot outside Lower Valley home

A shooting in El Paso’s Lower Valley sent two men to the hospital Sunday night, but so far police have no suspect.

The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. on the 7700 block of Hermosillo near Giles. Police tell ABC-7 the two men were outside the home when someone opened fire. We’re told, one man was hit in the jaw the other had a bullet wound to his chin.

Investigators had the street blocked off for more than five hours. Traffic cones were used to mark the spots where shell casings were found on the street. Two young men and a woman escorted out of the home, before police allowed them to leave.

Police confirm they took two people in for questioning, but so far they are not cooperating.The two victims aren’t providing any either. Police say one of the victims even left to his apartment on the 8000 block of Alameda before going to the hospital.
