Two men arrested after high-speed chase on I-10
Two men are in custody after a high-speed chase on Interstate 10 early Tuesday morning involving El Paso police and sheriff’s deputies.
When ABC-7 heard of the pursuit on emergency scanners, authorities were already on I-10 east between Joe Battle and Horizon Boulevard. The chase finally came to an end 18 miles later in Tornillo, when the driver of the pursued vehicle drove off the road just south of I-10 after taking the Tornillo exit.
Two men who were inside the car were immediately taken into custody, however a deputy at the scene would not confirm the reason why the men were taken. However, we were told that crime units were on the way to recover evidence from the car.
No injuries were reported and no other vehicles were involved.
