Two people hospitalized after head-on crash

Two people were hospitalized early Friday morning after a head-on crash in far east El Paso.

The incident happened at 2:15 a.m. on Zaragoza between Pellicano and Vista Del Sol. Police at the scene tell us a man and a woman were both taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. While police have not told us the cause of the wreck, they say one driver was heading north on Zaragoza while the other was going south. Each car had major damage with debris scattered across the road.

Police blocked off the northbound lanes of Zaragoza while they cleaned up the wreck. Zaragoza should be clear by rush hour.
