UTEP men’s and women’s teams advance in C-USA basketball tournament
The UTEP men’s basketball team has defeated Houston 80-69 in the quarterfinals of the Conference USA tournament.
Julian Washburn scored 20 points while John Bohanon had two points.
UTEP will play Southern Miss in Friday’s first semifinal game at 2 p.m. MDT.
The UTEP women defeated UAB 61-59 and will play UCF at 9 a.m.
