El Paso,Tx- Fort Bliss soldiers lend a helping hand to the military family whose lives were turned upside down last week by a violent attack.
Private Justin Poole’s unit came to his home this afternoon with mops and brooms, so the soldier, his recovering wife and their new baby girl can get a fresh start as a new family.
Armed with cleaning supplies Fort Bliss soldiers are trying to bring peace and order – and turn a crime scene back into a home for one of their own.
Rachel Poole was attracted during a Facetime conversation,she was stabbed several times in the face by an intruder who police say is another soldier named Corey Moss.
Soldiers showed up to get the home of the new parents ready for their latest addition.
Baby Isabella was born through a caesarian section just days ago. According to the family’s Facebook page, the mother is recovering and that little girl is doing fine.
Neighbors tell ABC-7 that Rachel Poole has not been home since the attack.
