EPISD to name superintendent finalist Monday
The El Paso Independent School District could have a superintendent finalist by Monday.
Board of managers President Dee Margo confirmed they may name their top finalist. This comes after 19 interviews.
Margo said the finalist is not from the El Paso area.
The district has been searching for one since 2011, after former Superintendent Lorenzo Garcia was jailed for master-mining a cheating scheme and committing fraud.
