Ysleta ISD holding community meetings to discuss possible changes to district

The Ysleta Independent School District is holding community meetings to talk about some possible major changes in the district.

Just like El Paso Independent School District, Ysleta did a study and found it has fewer students and more empty seats.

Topics will include: facilities planning, district’s demographics, and overview of school site visits by Trustees and community members. Students from the learning community will give music and dance performances. Sign-up opportunities will be available for PowerParent, Senior Gold Card, and volunteers.

Meetings will be held in the high school gymnasium. All meetings begin at 6 pm as follows:
