40K people pay to sway to electronica

The two day Sun City Music Festival drew 40,000 fans who paid as much as $199 each for VIP tickets to see any or all of the 40 music acts that performed in the two-day Labor Day weekend music festival. Organizers say ticket sales are up 15 percent over 2013. The musical acts were mostly DJ’s, who combined electronic music, spinning records, and light shows from three huge stages that lit up the desert night.
