An El Paso jury sentenced Fort Bliss soldier Corey Moss to 30 years in prison for stabbing the pregnant wife of deployed soldier.

Moss faced five years to life for the crime.

Moss was sentenced on the charge of burglary of habiation with intent to commit aggravated assault, which he pleaded guilty to.

He is expected to be eligible for parole after serving half of that sentence.

Moss appeared to sigh deeply when the sentence was read.
