I-10 to close Sunday night

East and Westbound Lanes between Ruhlen Court and San Antonio are closed. The area will be shut down all afternoon (Sunday). Crews are installing concrete beams as a part of the Spur 1966 Project.

Also, TX DOT will have I-10 at downtown closed tonight starting at 6 p.m. until Monday morning at 6 a.m. Drivers going east will exit the Downtown exit and drivers going west will exit at Mesa.

The I-10 overpasses in that area will also be closed to traffic.

Access to downtown will be available at all times during the closures.

Optional routes include the Border Highway, Paisano, and Alameda.

It is recommended that drivers follow the detour signs.
