El Paso Marathon just two days away
El Paso,Texas-This Sunday,the home of the Chihuahuas will be the destination of more than a thousand runners from across the Borderland, and the country.
The El Paso Marathon is two days away. While much of the country is dealing with bone chilling temperatures and several feet of snow, the Sun City is preparing for more wind and the marathon.
Marathon Director Mike Coulter said, “We’re giving an opportunity to have as many as 3,000 people on hand just to watch people cross the finish line. For the runners it’s a great opportunity to run into a stadium. It’s going to be an exciting time.”.
The marathon starts at Transmountain and ends at Southwest University Park,the marathon. It will affect several El Paso neighborhoods.
