Worker killed in WBAMC construction accident
A Midwest Steel, Inc. employee died this morning around 10 a.m. at the new
William Beaumont Army Medical Center construction site following a
work-related accident.
The name of the worker and details about the accident are being withheld by the post command until the employee’s family has been notified.
Lt. Col. Lee Peters, a Ft. Bliss spokesman, says the post is cooperating with Occupational Safety and Health Administration, as it investigates the work-related fatality.
A news release from Peters did not indicate that anyone else was injured in the incident.
