Socorro Fire Dept. investigates duplex fire
A fire broke out inside a duplex Saturday afternoon in Socorro.
There residents who live in the back part of the duplex first spotted the flames. They said they tried to put out flames before fire crews arrived.
It happened about 3 p.m. on the 400 block of Bothwell Street.
Firefighter could be seen making holes on the roof looking for hotspots.
Fire officials are still trying to determine the cause of the fire.
ABC-7 made several phone calls to the Socorro Fire Department, but all went unanswered.
