Man dead in West El Paso after allegedly being involved in a shooting in Anthony, New Mexico

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a man allegedly involved in a shooting in Anthony, New Mexico.

Sheriff’s officials received information about the shooting in Anthony, New Mexico at 2:21 p.m. and at 2:28 p.m. Sheriff’s Office patrol units spotted a vehicle meeting the description of the possible suspect vehicle on I -10 eastbound.

At 2:31 p.m. the vehicle was stopped near the intersection of South Desert Blvd. and Coates Dr. in west El Paso.

Sheriff’s officials say the preliminary investigation reveals that the occupant of the vehicle shot and killed himself.
