Portion of Yandell to close from June-August
A portion of Yandell Drive will close to through traffic this summer to allow for street and pedestrian pathway improvements, traffic calming, and area beautification.
Yandell between Campbell and Ochoa will be closed starting June 8 and remain in effect until late August.
Digital message boards notifying travelers of the closure will be placed along Yandell starting Wednesday, June 3.
Traffic will be detoured through nearby streets and proper traffic control measures will be in place to help direct traffic throughout the duration of the project. The project scope includes:
Curb extensions
Traffic calming measures
Angled parking
New landscaping
Roadway resurfacing
ADA compliant sidewalks and curb cuts
