El Paso Police release name of man who died after rollover crash on US 54 Wednesday
El Paso Police have released the name of the man who died after a rollover crash in Northeast El Paso.
It happened just after 6:30 a.m. on U.S. 54 near Sean Haggerty.
Police say the driver, 37-year-old John Jacob Dakan suffered a medical event that caused him to lose control of the vehicle.
His passenger, Monica Alvarado, tried to regain control of the car but it hit a street sign and then rolled over.
Dakan was taken to the hospital where he died.
Alvarado was not seriously hurt.
