Undrafted: Hunter and Washburn Become Rookie Free Agents

to hear their names called… unfortunately… it didn’t happen… that’s julian washburn … he goes undrafted … he’ll get a shot at some point… tim floyd came by our station today and talked says washburn’s elite level defense will give him a chance to make it in the league… “i did learn that every nba hea coach, when his gm tells him he has a new player for him, the first question the coach asks is: can he defend his position? because they can all score a little bit at that level.” then of course, there’s our man vince hunter… hunter was the miners leading scorer and rebounder … he had a good showing at the combine but not enough to get scooped up… but he’s another guy who will have a shot to make a team as a rookie free agent… coach floyd on what hunter can bring to a team… “vince is going to go break out of an offense and i mean that in complimentary way and he’s a dysfunctional player and i mean that in a complimentary way. he can break out of an offense and go get his own shot.” as for the rest of the nba draft…
