Bob Hoy dies at 81
El Paso icon, Bob Hoy, died last night. It marks another loss in the local car dealership industry after the death of Dick Poe. Hoy was the founder of the Hoy-Fox dealership and the 12th Texas car dealer to get the Texas Automotive Dealers Association’s Legend Award.
The 81-year-old car dealer was also a city councilman and attorney. There’s still no word on his passing. But we will be dearly missed by El Paso.
