?? changes are happening to yvonne romero and carol de avila. these two women have taken on the challenge to get fit and eat healthier as part of our fit for ’15 campaign. in this segment — sponsored by planet fitness and subway — we’re checking on their progress: we caught up with yvonne and carol during their weekly joint workout at the planet fitness in central el paso. “i haven’t really weighed myself. i kind of don’t want to weigh myself. it’s more how my clothes are fitting, and how my shirts are falling.” 14.59 based on that measure — yvonne said she is seeing a change. “i like the way my shirts are starting to fit, how my pants aren’t giving me any trouble. those are the things i like to see.” 15.1 “everything’s still the same. i’m patient. 18.32 carol said there are some differences you can’t see. “i do feel more energized. i’ up earlier, i sleep better through the night. 18.37 so i guess those things are positive.” 18.40 carol is active — she knows her issue is her eating habits. she and yvonne both use online food diaries. “so it really helps to keep track of that so you don’t go overboard. 17.51 it’s in your face — what you’re supposed to do and what you should keep away from.” 17.55 yvonne is keepin away from sugar. the starbucks and drinking sweet teas from restaurants. i’m really staying away from drinking my calories and i learned that it’s easy to do. 16.16 they’re learning healthier habits — doesn’t matter how much i weigh as long as i’m ok and healthy. 19.00 and remaing positive. “i know that at the end of th two months i’m going to be really proud of myself.” 16.43 we’ll be following them until the end of july. be sure to check out kvia.com’s “fi for 15” page for recipes an stories. we’re also on pinterest under “kvia-tv.
