Friends and family gather to remember Peter Garza

valley. a memorial was held for 14- year-old peter garza. peter was inside his family’s s-u-v when a tire blew out causing it to roll several times. it happened sunday on i-10 just outside ft. stockton. his mother — older sister and his 11- year-old brother were also killed. peter’s father and his 6-year-old sister survived. last night we told you about a memorial that was held for peter’s sister, taylor. the 18-year- old had just graduated from franklin high school and was working at the texas roadhouse on the west side. tonight we’re learning more about peter.. from friends who spoke with abc-7’s jerry najera. rick estela to say the day was emotional for students at lincoln middle could be an understatement. being among them this afternoon you could just feel a great sense of loss and sadness. in this package you’ll also see peter’s grandfather and aunt who were surprised by seeing so much love and support for peter. although peters grandfather and aunt weren’t ready to talk on camera today they want to thank the community to talk on camera today they want to thank the community for their overwhelming support and prayers. investigators say one of the tires on the family’s s-u-v blew out… so what should you do
