UTEP’s Sean Kugler names starting quarterback

UTEP finally has its starting quarterback.

Head Coach Sean Kugler on Monday named sophomore Mack Leftwich.

Kugler said Leftwich has the “it” factor.

Letwich redshirted last year.

UTEP opens the season at 1:30 p.m. Mountain Time Saturday, Sept. 5 at Arkansas. The Razorbacks are ranked No. 18.

The game will be televised on ESPNU.
