ATF serves warrant at East Side embroidery business

ATF, backed up by El Paso Police, served a warrant at Irene’s Embroidery in East El Paso Tuesday morning.

An ATF spokesman could not disclose details of the warrant other than to say it was served at the business and that the warrant is sealed.

ABC-7 called the business for comment but the business declined to comment.

The shop remains open for business.

ATF (the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms) is a law enforcement agency that “protects our communities from violent criminals, criminal organizations, the illegal use and trafficking of firearms, the illegal use and storage of explosives, acts of arson and bombings, acts of terrorism, and the illegal diversion of alcohol and tobacco products. We partner with communities, industries, law enforcement, and public safety agencies to safeguard the public we serve through information sharing, training, research and use of technology,” according to the official ATF website.
