Man critically injured after being stabbed at west El Paso bar

El Paso Police are investigating a stabbing that happened early Tuesday morning.

According to police, a fight between two groups began inside Erin’s, a bar located at 6306 North Mesa Street just before closing. The fight escalated into the parking lot where one man was stabbed in the chest.

He was taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries. Police have only identified him as a man in his twenties.

No word on any suspects or arrests.
