Chihuahuas 2016 Individual Game Tickets Go On Sale Saturday
Individual game tickets to the El Paso Chihuahuas 2016 regular season as well as the Chihuahuas vs. Padres exhibition game will go on sale to the general public on Saturday, February 27th from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Durango Box Office at Southwest University Park.
A mini-Fan Fest will coincide with the on-sale. Those in attendance between 10 a.m. and noon on Saturday will have the first opportunity to purchase individual game tickets. Tickets will be available for purchase online at EPChihuahuas.com or over the phone starting at noon.
“We are heading into 2016 with excitement and enthusiasm,” said Brad Taylor, general manager for the El Paso Chihuahuas. “With the addition of the Padres exhibition game and some creative, new promotions, we will continue to make Chihuahuas baseball at Southwest University Park memorable, fun and entertaining for our fans.”
Season Seat Holders will be given the first opportunity to purchase individual game tickets starting at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 24th with Paw-tial Plan Holders receiving the same pre-purchase benefit on Thursday, February 25th. Members of the general public who filled out an interest form online will have a pre-purchase opportunity on Friday, February 26th.
Season Seat Holders will be instructed via email as to how they can purchase their tickets. There is a six (6) ticket limit for the San Diego Padres Exhibition, Opening Night and July 3rd games. The ticket limit is per account and not based on the number of Season Seats purchased.
The Chihuahuas will host a mini-Fan Fest for guests who purchase in-person on the 27th. Fans will be given the opportunity to get a glimpse of Southwest University Park, take photos with Chico, enjoy a Chihuahuas Team Shop sidewalk sale and more.
Beginning February 27th, the Durango Box Office will be open Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. through Opening Day. The Santa Fe Box Office hours will be announced at a later time.
Tickets are available starting at $5. Purchasers who buy in advance will enjoy a savings ranging from $2.00 – $3.00 per ticket on reserved seating versus purchasing on the day of the game.
The San Diego Padres will play a Spring Training exhibition game that will take place on Thursday, March 31 at 6:35 p.m. at Southwest University Park. The game will be preceded by a Chihuahuas First Pitch Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. at the Judson F. Williams Convention Center in downtown El Paso. Tables and tickets are currently on sale.
The Chihuahuas open the 2016 campaign on the road in an eight-game stint beginning at Reno (Arizona Diamondbacks) and ending in Tacoma (Seattle Mariners). Opening Day is set for Friday, April 15th versus the Aces, the start of an eight-game homestand.
