California man killed crossing Paisano

A California man was killed Wednesday night after he was struck by a Jeep while crossing the street, according to El Paso Police.

This happened at 10:07 p.m. on the 1800 block of West Paisano.

Special Traffic Investigators determined that 39-year-old Maurice Goodlow of Pinole, California was crossing Paisano from north to south when he was struck by a Jeep Wrangler driving west on Paisano.

Police said Goodlow, who was not at a crosswalk and did not yield to traffic, died at the scene.

There are no charges pending against driver 46-year-old Sergio Cano.
