Ft. Bliss soldier releases fifth book while serving his country

Author, entrepreneur, father, and soldier, Asa Leveaux has been in the Army for 14 years, been to Iraq and Afghanistan four times and is dedicated to being a career soldier. And in all that, he’s written for books out now, and goes around the country as a business consultant.

“You make time. You make time for what’s important,” said Leveaux, who is stationed at Ft. Bliss. “I understand that God and country is one thing, but then I get to fulfill what my purpose is. And that’s to help entrepreneurs and to affirm men and women around the world.”

He’s coming out with a fifth book on Tuesday, titled “I Am Woman Enough.”

“The new book, ‘I Am Woman Enough,’ very excited about it,” Leveaux said. “It’s to change the trajectory of women’s lives around the world to show their strength and their divinity.”

Based on a similar idea from one of his previous books, “I Am Man Enough,” Leveaux said he was approached to put together the book, working with the stories of 23 contributing women authors.

“And I wanted to let them know that their definition of femininity, their definition of what it is to be a woman, comes from within them, not anybody else,” Leveaux said.

While that project is ready to be released, Leveaux said he has much more in the works, including a book with his son.

“I have a 10-year-old little boy. I call my son my s-o-n and and my s-u-n,” Leveaux said. “And I found out he struggles with certain things, and he’s actually shown an interest to write a book. He’s always asked me, ‘So daddy, do you think I can do it?’ I’m like of course you can. So that’s my next project, to go forward to co-authoring a book with him.”

All while serving his country.
