Mexicanos En Exilio advocates for voting rights

The Mexicanos En Exilio met Sunday to discuss political corruption with Chihuahua Sen. Javier Corral Jurado.

The group is composed of people who fled violence in Mexico.

Saturday’s discussion focused on making it possible for all Mexicans to process their voting credentials, and exercise the right to vote at the Mexican Consulate in El Paso.

Mexicanos En Exilio hopes to change the law in the state of Chihuahua to allow its citizens to vote in the Chihuahua governor’s race while abroad.
