Santa Teresa Coach Bob Haack loses battle with cancer

Santa Teresa boys Basketball Coach Bob Haack has passed away, a Gadsden ISD spokesman confirmed.

Haack died as a result of complications from cancer, the spokesman said.

Coach Haack, a graduate assistant under the legendary Don Haskins in the 1970s, won a state title with Santa Teresa in 2012.

He also coached basketball at several schools in El Paso, including Hanks, which he lead to the Elite 8 in 1992.
