El Paso police identify motorcyclist killed in crash at George Dieter and Pebble Hills

The El Paso Police Department’s Special Traffic Investigators responded to a fatal crash in East El Paso Sunday night.shortly before 9pm.

Investigators say 35 year old Jaime Arizaga was driving his 2014 Yamaha motorcycle along George Dieter at a high rate of speed when he failed to negotiate a curve and struck the median.

The impact ejected Arizaga from his motorcycle throwing him onto the highway. Arziaga died at the scene

This is the city’s 29th traffic fatality and the 8th involving a motorcyclist.
