Trump scheduled to announce Supreme…

President Donald Trump is scheduled to announce his pick to replace retiring Justice Anthony Kennedy Monday night.

He has told reporters that he is nearing a decision and will make an announcement at 9 pm EST.

“They’re excellent, every one, you can’t go wrong,” Trump said. “But I’m getting very close to making a final decision.”

The list includes Federal Appeals Court Judges Brett Kavanaugh, Raymond Kethledge, Thomas Hardiman, and Amy Coney Barrett.

Democrats have promised to fight because any of the picks may swing the Court against the 1973 abortion decision, Roe v. Wade.

However, Republicans believe it will be easy to confirm any of the picks through the GOP-held Senate.

If Trump’s nominee is confirmed to the Court, it will be the first time the Court may lean Conservative since the 1930’s.
