France wins 2018 Fifa World Cup final against Croatia
The smallest country to qualify for the World Cup Tournament took on a country who is going into their third finals match.
Early in the first half, France with a free kick outside the box and the shot goes off a Croatian and into the goal!
This was the first own goal ever scored in a finals game!
Twenty ninth minute, Croatia’s turn for the sneaky free kick and after a scrum for the ball Prisic gets control and rips the shot into the net!
That would tie the game!
Thirty forth minute of the game. France lining up a corner kick. As the ball heads into the box it looks like a Croatian got his hand on the ball!
After the referee reviewed the play it was indeed a hand ball in the box giving France a penalty kick!
Griezmen would take it for France and out guess the keeper for the goal making it two to one!
In the second half France pushing down the field. Hernandez would take the ball down the sideline then pass it to Mbappe who settles it down and scores the goal! That would put France up four to one!
Croatia would sneak in another goal but it wouldn’t be enough.
