The El Paso Chihuahuas are in Albuquerque taking on the Isotopes

The El Paso Chihuahuas are sitting pretty early on in the season at first place.

They took their record to Albuquerque Thursday for a five games series.

The Isotopes would start fast.

In the first inning Brian Mundell doubles bringing in the runners at first and second.

Scoring was not a problem for the Topes who continued with little resistance.

Pat Valaika would smash one out to right field in the fourth inning for the sixth unanswered point of the game.

Finally in the 6th inning Michael Getty would get a hold of one for a solo homerun getting the Chihuahuas on the board.

That wouldnt stop the Isoptopes who would end up hanging 12 on the Dogs in nine innings.

These two teams will finish their series on Monday.
