Police Seek Help Identifying Man Suspected of Using Stolen Credit Cards in Las Cruces

Las Cruces Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that helps identify the man suspected of using stolen credit cards at several area businesses.

Las Cruces police learned that a wallet with cash and several credit cards was stolen from a vehicle on June 28, 2019. A few days later, the victim noticed several fraudulent charges on his credit cards at an automotive parts store. The suspect also tried using the cards at an area convenience store and at a Family Dollar store, but those transactions were declined.

The suspect was seen on surveillance cameras from at least one of the stores. Photos of the suspect are attached. The man is believed to be driving a white, 4-door Chevrolet pickup.

Anyone with information that can help identify the suspect is asked to call Las Cruces Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Tips can also be provided through the Las Cruces Crime Stoppers app, “P3 TIPS.” The app is available through the App Store on most devices.

Those who provide tips through Crime Stoppers do not have to leave their own name and will remain completely anonymous.
