Watch: Sam Elliot and Katharine Ross Speak In El Paso
Two academy award nominees will be speaking today at the Plaza Classic Film Festival.
Sam Elliott, who appeared at PCFF 2018, returns to the El Paso Community Foundation’s 12th annual Plaza Classic Film Festival, this time with Katherine Ross, his wife of 35 years.

Sam was nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in 2018’s A Star Is Born.
Katherine was nominated for an Academy Award for 1967’s The Graduate.
The two will also be on stage tonight at 6:30 before a 50th-anniversary showing of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid in the Plaza Theatre .
Katharine played Etta Place in Butch Cassidy, co-starring with Paul Newman and Robert Redford.
Sam also appears in the movie as Card Player #2.
They also will appear with the 1978 horror film The Legacy at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, August 3, also in the Plaza Theatre .
They met making the movie, in which they costarred, and married six years later.
