CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico - A 3-year-old boy was caught in the crossfire and seriously wounded when two armed men opened fire at a funeral in Juarez, Mexican media outlets reported Saturday.

The violence occurred Friday night in the Industrial Colony neighborhood at a wake attended by approximately 30 people.

Police arrested two men they said were responsible for the gunfire, which apparently came during an attempt to rob people of their cell phones.

The boy, who was among several people injured, remained hospitalized in serious condition on Saturday.
