Person taken into custody after SWAT standoff in Las Cruces

LAS CRUCES, NM - One person is in custody following a SWAT standoff in Las Cruces.

The Las Cruces Police Department said a person barricaded themselves inside a home on Delta drive earlier Thursday evening.

LCPD asked people to avoid the area, but said the scene is now clear.

They could not confirm if the person taken into custody would be facing charges.
