El Paso teams affected by UIL district realignment

Monday was realignment day in the state of Texas.

The University Interscholastic League (UIL) released its district realignments for the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 seasons.

Some of the notable changes included Eastwood and Eastlake joining district 1-6A.

District 1-5A is now only a 4 team district and Riverside drops from class 5A to class 4A.

The realignments are as follows:

1-4A Division 1:

RIVERSIDE
