StormTRACK Weather: Dry out west and isolated storm chances out east
El Paso, Texas- Today marks the official first day of Monsoon Season for us here in the Borderland. Rain chances will be slim for El Paso and Las Cruces. However, precipitation chances are back for areas out east in Hudspeth and Culberson Counties.
Isolated storms could produce gusty winds, and heavy rainfall at times.
Triple-digit heat will remain in the forecast for areas out west. Increasing cloud cover out east will help keep afternoon highs hovering in the upper-90s.
Storm chances remain in the forecast every afternoon beginning tomorrow.
