ABC-7 StormTRACK Weather: Tropical moisture enters Tuesday, but keeping average temperatures

Happy Sunday to you all! Today's weather hasn't been so bad. We've been anywhere from 5-10 degrees cooler than we were yesterday, but we have also been tracking winds across the area. Some stats to share with yall are the following: El Paso Intl. saw gusts up to 28 mph, Las Cruces Intl. saw gusts up to 23 mph, and various locations on the western slopes of the Organ and Franklin mts. saw gusts anywhere from 30-39 mph. That just shows you how much wind strengths can vary from the mountains to the lowlands.

Monday will be a fairly average day with a few storms possible, but not too worried about anything going on Monday. Tuesday, however, is the day to pay attention to. The reason why is tropical moisture from what used to be Hurricane Kay will be moving across our area, bringing rain chances for us all! Right now these storms look to be fast-moving, so flooding is not a huge concern, although we can see some storms let out heavy rain. We are not under a First Alert, but if Doppler or Nichole feel the need to issue one, they certainly might. Overall, just expect storms to impact your plans on Tuesday. Stay safe everyone!
